Scale leak inspections with faster reporting
FHT Perslucht scales compressed air leak inspections with the Sorama CAM iV64s
Introduction
Speeding up compressed air leak inspections and reporting
FHT Perslucht finds and reports compressed air leaks for industrial sites. Their clients want fast results without disrupting production. As FHT Perslucht grew, they needed a way to speed up inspections and reporting, without losing accuracy.

The challenge
Scale inspections without slowing down
Leak checks can get slow and physically demanding. Technicians often need to get close to pipes and joints, crouch, climb, or use soapy water tests. That costs time and increases risk, especially in noisy or hard-to-reach areas.
FHT Perslucht needed a tool that helps technicians cover more ground per visit, while still finding small leaks reliably.
The approach
Faster scanning and built-in reporting
FHT Perslucht introduced the Sorama CAM iV64s into their inspection workflow. The team could scan from a safe distance and instantly see compressed air leaks as a heatmap on screen. That removed the need to physically check every connection point up close.
The camera also streamlined documentation. Technicians can create and review reports on the device, then transfer them to a PC, without extra software or hardware.
The level of accuracy and sensitivity is unlike anything we've used in the past.

The results
More leaks found per visit, clearer reports for clients
With the Sorama CAM iV64s, FHT Perslucht can detect more leaks per inspection and deliver faster, clearer reporting. That helps their customers act sooner, reducing air loss and energy waste before leaks turn expensive.
Even small leaks add up. A handful of sub-millimeter leaks can cost over €10,000 per year in wasted compressed air.
